Silence is golden

We prefer to keep the massage room quiet and serene. Please silence any cell phones and electronic devices while in service. A better option is to leave these devices away from the room.

Arrival

Please avail yourself 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to check-in, relax and prepare for your service. If you arrive late for your service, we will make every effort to accommodate your full service. If other appointments are scheduled immediately after yours, your service may be shortened and you will remain responsible for the full service price.

Children

Children under the age of 18 may have treatments as long as they are accompanied by an adult who has signed a consent form. The parent/guardian must remain in the room for the entire duration of the service (This stipulation is not optional).

Spa Attire

Please feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable. You may be asked to remove certain clothing but the most important thing is that you are comfortable. Your therapist will keep your body draped under sheets and only expose each area being treated. However, in wet treatments such as body scrubs and body wraps, you will not always be draped. Undergarments are optional during treatments.

Valuables

We suggest that you please leave your valuables in a secure area. Many of our treatments require removal of jewelry, and we regret that we cannot be responsible for any missing or lost items.

Health and Well Being

Both the Massage Practitioner and clients are required to follow proper hygiene etiquette. Due to health and safety regulations, your therapist reserves the right to refuse treatment due to improper hygiene. A quick pre-session shower is recommended. Please be courteous regarding hygiene and cleanliness.

It’s best NOT to arrive to your session with a full stomach as you may experience discomfort from the techniques and body positioning during the session.

It is asked that you do NOT come to your session under the influence of alcohol or drugs as these things may mask your body’s ability to receive the work safely.

If you have a cold, flu, sore throat, stomach virus, poison ivy, skin rash or anything contagious – please reschedule your appointment.

In most cases, the client undresses completely for a massage, but it’s entirely up to your discretion, the level you feel comfortable disrobing. During the massage, only the area of your body being massaged will be uncovered – the rest will be draped with linens. Your privacy and modesty will always be respected.

Some clients may experience muscle soreness the next day (if firmer pressure was used in the session). This should not last more than two days.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in our prices, but greatly appreciated. The standard gratuity is normally based on the full cost of service provided.
