Q: What do you like most about your job?
Helping make people feel awesome about themselves through massage. I cannot think of a more rewarding way to spend my life than doing what I love best to help you do more of what you love best.
Q: Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
Massotherapy as the art and science of therapeutic massage, by a different name.
Swedish Massage Therapy as the #1 stress relief massage on the planet. It is more expensive to go without than to shell out sixty bucks a month for a tune-up massage.
Q:Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
Great massages feature the following key elements:
Precision: knowing which muscle systems to work on.
Intent: knowing how to select the right manual technique to effect a desired therapeutic response.
Flow: how to lead the nervous system into the relaxation response.
We offer All 3 of these during every session.
What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What’s your answer?
Q: Is massage safe?
A: Yes massage is generally safe, even by untrained persons, and has been used for millennia as the go-to remedy for muscle pain. Complex issues require expert hands so the safest bet is to get massage from a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with appropriate training.
Q: Is massage for me?
A: Absolutely. Massage is for everybody but whether it is specifically for you remains a question for you and your doctor to decide. Always check with your primary care provider to find out if massage therapy can be helpful for your given condition. On rare occasions, due to a health concern, your doctor may contraindicate a partial or full body massage.
Q: Does massage hurt?
A: No it mostly feels just great. Sometimes there can be discomfort if myofascial trigger points or tight muscles are present. Always tell your therapist if the pressure being used feels good or presents signs of discomfort. Communication ensures comfort. Speak to us. We are experts in listening comprehension.
Q:If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
Massage and how it is the singular most pleasurable therapeutic spa service you can buy on earth today.
Oh, before your appointments, try to freshen up, or better yet, take a shower. Body odor is by far the most distracting aspect of a good massage session. Electronic devices like smartphones can also depreciate your massage experience.
Q:What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
Importance of massages and how they can be practiced safely at home, by practically anyone, especially new moms who are natural experts at mothering touch, and why it pays to hire a pro when you need specialized care.
Q:What is your greatest strength?
I have both a technical and human approach to my work, peppered with a good sense of humor and a secure and comfortable rapport with my clients. I have brought ancient Thai techniques together with modern sports massage and deep tissue work with phenomenal results!
